I really, really hope you like it. XD;

Yes, the art trade owed forever. (A month short of a year at this point, I believe. I suck.) Ages back, she requested "a very ordinary girl doing something that shows something personal about her", " just, someone who could be a random girl you run into on the street, as opposed to the ridiculously beautiful people artists like to draw" and this is what I came up with. Personally, I'm not a big fan of rain, but I've met some people who are - and in that case, who needs an umbrella? It took forever to make the idea work, but I'm quite happy with the result. There are quite a few problems I couldn't resolve but, well, I'll just hope y'all don't notice them. *cough*

I love the textures you used on her clothes! They fit in with the rest of the picture very nicely, and they make it seem very real! The colors and the composition are amazing too. Freckles are definitely my favorite part though!

Oh nice work. I like how the color pallette is both rich and vibrant in areas, and moody and desaturated in others. It's really cool. I also like the textures expecially on her jeans. Speaking of her clothes, they are designed really nicely. The black figure in the background really helps the composition.

This peice has a very nice texture to it... th eway you handled the coloring in of it, looks very nice! I like the color choices you chosen, and the clouds just look so lovely!

The only issue I see with the piece is the black shape of another person, to me it is kind of distracting, especially since the girl is so detailed and this person is just a black shape... my only suggestion would be to add a hint of detail to the person... or completly illimanate it.

However, this piece is really good, nice attention to detail, and a very fun idea. Great job!
